I was very happy with the cruise. Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and i enjoyed breakfast in the panorama bar. Lectures were interesting and well presented.
I didn't like the close proximity of the other ships which made it difficult to use the balcony and at times and made me feel as if i was living in a goldfish bowl.

Cabin / Stateroom

BATHROOM. No make up mirror, shower very dark and bathroom in general had inadequate lighting. Although there were additional lights in the ceiling there was no switch for them and we were told they were not in use.
CABIN. When beds are separated you are constantly banging your head and turning the lights on because the lamp is over your head and the light switches are behind the pillows in the bed nearest to the window.
SITTING AREA. Very nice relaxing space with ample space. Fixtures and fittings of a high standard.
Ship tip
Ships are tied together with very little space separating them. You may step out of the bathroom to find a ship has arrived during your shower and the stateroom opposite has a clear view of you!
Amazing city. Traffic is awful. Enjoyed Treasures of the Kremlin Armoury, Sergiev Posad, Moscow by night and Panoramic Moscow Shore excursion.
Disappointed that we did not have much time in Red Square, there was no free time to explore. I feel the Kremlin tour starting at 1:30 was to allow for lunch but an earlier start with a boxed lunch on the coach while you are sitting in traffic is a much better option and perhaps have the evening entertainment as a separate excursion in the evening after dinner.
I enjoyed the tour but think if i had been told it was only a part tour, i had joined the leisurely group to allow time for photos and didn't realise i would miss a lot of the tour.
Excursions to Catherine's Palace, The Hermitage, Faberge Museum, Panoramic St Petersburg and Cossack Folklore Show were all very good. Faberge museum was my favourite, no crowds and lots of time to enjoy the exibits.
