Review summary

Lovely cruise - glad we did it, nice Ports to visit - Ventura easy to get around too if you don’t mind waiting for lifts, can be a long wait so we did stairs but not recommended if you not really fit lol

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and friendly check in

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Mainly ate in the buffet and can’t knock a thing, plenty of choice for even the fussiest of eaters

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I didn’t do any this time, but watched loads of people doing things like dancing, and other activities, looked like fun

Entertainment

4 out of 5
the comedian/magician had the same act as last year, but I still laughed at the show and the banter he had with other guests

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All were good, some bar team a bit rude when under pressure, blaming the weddings taking place and not enough team, but other than that all were lovely especially our cleaner

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Layout good, looked a bit tired in places especially up by the Breakers Bar where the green flooring is lifting and could become a trip hazard, more so by the stairs

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean, replenished the milk and coffee when needed (which was morning and evening)

Ship tip

Don’t put your things on the su bed and walk away for hours at a time, not fair to others who spend time looking to sit down and relax

Ports of call

Cherbourg

4 out of 5
No excursion, easy walk into the town - found the bistros along the marina very expensive, better of walking up side streets for a fairer price

La Coruna, Spain

4 out of 5
Easy walk and lovely old buildings and churches to look around

Santander, Spain

5 out of 5
My favourite port as weather was great, so had a beach day - easy walk to get to

St. Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands

4 out of 5
Pretty Port and a nice walk, depending on where you want to walk to could be quite steep - lovely shopping area

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy, luggage waiting for us - all done and dusted by 10am and on way home

If I see a sun bed left unattended after 30 minutes I ask a crew member to remove the towel and use it. I've done this at least 4 times and have had people come back and say we were here but when told they have not returned for over 30 minutes they go away 😭

Our favourite P&O ship, true about the lifts. There is a notice about people not leaving towels on sunbeds. People take no notice, and the staff don't in force it. 🍷😎
