Review summary
Wasn’t impressed wth the Canaries. Lack of historic interest. Ship very nice. Balcony cabin with larger balcony good. Food ok but repetitive. But if a bumpy few days at sea on this occasion. Same old stuff on ship shops. Activities during day a tad uninteresting for us. Seems to be a gap in what they can provide for younger guests - as in 25-60. Although we had a nice time we didn’t enjoy this cruise as we have the others we’ve been on.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Saffron Restaurant
Some tables were crammed with places. An 8 should have been 6. Some tables tucked away so it was difficult to be served and you ended up having waiters stretching over you or them pushing behind you. Menus tended to be somewhat repetitive and servings small.
Tamarind Club
A good club type area. Needs more seating. And chairs which are comfy.
Onboard Activities
Hair Salon
I needed hairspray - £21 later and having scraped myself off of floor !In general shop they had none. Maybe they should have.
Entertainment
Arena Theatre
Large and big stage. That most uncomfortable and small seats. How you’re meant to enjoy a drink whilst seated us behind me. More luxiourious seats needed !
Havana
Was undergoing renovation tonsome seating whilst there. Is a nice club sort of area with seating and bar and stage. Maybe more seating needed though
Atrium
Very impressive area and perfect ‘reception’ area. Decorated lovely for Xmas. Is like the hub for reception and shops etc.
