Review summary
The cruise was a good way to see the amazon and the RT passage was probably 2500 miles. I was surprised by the enormous size of the river so sidetrips are important to really see the forests and villagesEmbarkation

This was a RT Ft. Lauderdale from which I selected a return from Rio.HAL has generally an older clientele but it seems all the older snowbirds take these trips so they don't have to fly. The result was a much older group which complicates services and excursions.
