Review summary
The ship is old and needs a make over. Felt like I was on a 1960's ship. The cleanliness of ship was substandard carpets were old, dirty and worn out. .The way they do some things is old and archaic ie. life boat drill on deck with them calling out names and cabin numbers. Not much for passenger privacy. From crowded conditions on deck could never see how to do the life vest.
The food at best was just ok. And the specialty dining places food was nothing exceptional was almost like they took the regular diner dishes to them. Fancy names don't make good food.
Activities on the ship on sea days was very lacking. The entertainment had it bright spots the comedian was good as was the Beatles singer rest was just ok. Couple of more bright spots were the Mixology classes and the Windows 10 classes persons doing them were fun and knowledgeable. Never did see much of the cruise staff.
Our overall opinion of the ship on scale of 10 we would give it at best a 5. And would we sail on it again probably not unless it was only ship doing a certain itinerary we wanted to do. Then we might have to rethink where we wanted to go.
We have sailed on numerous lines and ships so we had a lot to compare this cruise to. If it were not for the company we were with we would have left very disappointed.
