Review summary

Virgin Voyages offers something for everyone - if you want a relaxing experience you can spend time at the spa or enjoy on your hammock - there are plenty of quiet areas to relax on the ship. If you’re seeing fun and excitement check out the evening events in the manor and join the happenings cast for their engaging programming. This voyage was a balance of both for our group - we especially enjoyed the sail away party, loteria gigante, bubbles and bites, and scarlet night.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Employees at Terminal V were friendly and welcoming. I had Deep Blue Extras and Splash of Romance which gave me Priority Boarding - we were inside the terminal at about 1:00 for check-in and were on the ship around 1:30. Embarkation was easy and efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining on Valiant Lady was excellent. On this voyage we particularly enjoyed meals at Gunbae, Extra Virgin, and Teat Kitchen. The onboard sommeliers really helped to elevate the experience by suggesting exceptional wine pairings to complement our meals.

The Dock Bar

5 out of 5

You need to try the golden Horizon at the Dock. The quick tapas bites are some of the best snacks and light meals you can find on the ship. The shrimp and steak are exceptional as is the watermelon & feta salad from the meze cart.

Sip Lounge

5 out of 5

The Espresso Martinis at Sip never disappoint.

Gym & Tonic

5 out of 5

The Hydration Nation cocktail is one of my favorite on the ship.

Ship tip

Get to know the sommeliers onboard and ask them to stop by your table at dinner for customized wine recommendations. They are engaging, friendly, and are there to elevate the dining experience. Wines on board are very reasonably priced.

Ports of call

The Beach Club (Virgin Voyages), Bimini Bahamas

5 out of 5
We rented a golf cart during this stop at Bimini hoping to experience something new and different - there really isn’t much to see or do on the island so a golf cart is totally unnecessary. We drove to each end of the island in about 30 min and decided to spend the rest of the afternoon at the beach club.
