This is our fourth Cruise on four different Cruise Lines. Virgin is by far our favorite, they did so many things right. The value and cost to us was right there with anyone else because everyone else has so many different up charges that are included on Virgin. Amazing food a great cabin and just an overall fun time.

Embarkation was painless, we supposedly had a special line because we did the splash of Romance package but everyone seemed to be moving pretty quick

It is hard to beat a cruise ship that includes dining that is equivalent to Specialty dining for free. Food was excellent and drinks were we're great once we found our favorite bar. All I'm going to say is not all bars are created equal on a cruise ship.
The Dock House

The back of the ship where the Dock House was is definitely our happy spot. Just a relaxing place where you could get a bite to eat listen to some music have the best drink on the ship and watch the sunset.
Gym & Tonic

We were definitely disappointed in our Juice drink we got included in our splash of Romance package. If you're going to do something do it right. Being handed a lukewarm pre prepared drink in an unattractive glass almost handed to you grudgingly is a bad look. Virgin did so many things right this was not one of them.
The Dock House Bar

Not all bars are created equal not even on a virgin cruise ship. Once we found this place it was hour to go place for drinks. We highly recommend the golden horizon.
Onboard Activities

We tend to go for Quiet Moments but we did participate in the pajama party and Scarlet night and both of those rocked!
Entertainment

Most of our entertainment exposure was with the band or Duo we did not attend big shows. To music we did experience we enjoyed very much.
Service and Staff

The staff was all excellent sometimes there was a little bit of a language barrier but we're adults we worked through it.
Ship Quality

We feel like we were on the newest shift we had ever been on spotless clean. I don't want to say they could use a new dishwasher several times we had cups or glasses that kind of made us go ooh, lipstick....
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabins are amazing and have that extra special virgin touch such as the iPad type device that controls the mood lighting. Loved the hammock on the balcony.
Ship tip
Virgin is not for everyone, if the idea of a drag queen hosting a game show or a dance party bothers you you may think about that before you get on a cruise with Virgin they are very inclusive and a safe place for everyone to be themselves.
We were familiar with Key West so we did some walking to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. Lots of amazing things to see in Key West all within a mile or less of the ship. Be careful though even though we knew the town we still got ourselves into a dead end because we thought we could walk straight back to the ship ask the crow flies it would have worked but we are not crows.
The water Was just amazing. Turquoise blue postcard perfect you could see to the bottom even if you were up to your neck. Just sugar sand on the beach and in the water no jellyfish no seaweed. The beach club had great food and drinks pool was a little warm for us so we opted for the ocean. Why not it was perfect!
We took our time getting off the boat the last day why not one more amazing meal at the Wake. There was no lines or crazy Gatherings of people waiting to be called one of the smoothest disembarkments we've ever done.
