First time on Virgin.. I was expecting a wow factor. NOT. Decor is minimalist and dark. Nicest place is the inside of the elevators. The app needs a lot of work. No ship maps anywhere to help find places. Balcony cabin is small and not a lot of storage.

There were deck maps on the dailies. These are located in several places around the ship, but I would pick them up when I went for coffee each morning. I agree that the balcony cabins are a little tight, but I don’t agree about the storage. There were five small drawers in the closet two large drawers and two large, wicker baskets, two layers of shelving in the bathroom. The closet was quite large. Our steward brought us extra hangers. There was also extra storage spaces next to the mini fridge. My complaint about the room was the lighting was not bright enough to apply make up. I loved that the balcony curtains could be opened with the push of a button on the iPad. Our room steward was always available never had to look for her very far. The app did not work well until we got hooked up to the premium Wi-Fi, which was a perk with the deep blue extras. After that everything loaded really fast. If drag is not your bag, then you won’t enjoy the entertainment, but I found it fascinating. I thought the shows were really innovative. And yes, if you are a foodie, you should definitely love this cruise line.
