Review summary

Overall, the trip was excellent. We dodged a Hurricane and a Port Strike, so luck was on our side. After the 4-hour delay on the first day, the rest of the trip was without any issues. I would sail with Royal Caribbean again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were delayed 4 hours due to Hurricane Helene but how they get 7,000 people off the ship and load it up again in a couple of hours is amazing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall, pretty good. Desserts are a waste of calories as all of them taste like nothing much. Plenty of choices and something for everyone.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn't do any activities, but there is plenty to do on the ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We went to a couple of the shows (Aqua and Ice), and both were good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff are amazing! They always went out of their way to please you.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It's a new ship! Everything was spotless.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was everything we needed. Balcony overlooking Broadway. Soundproofing pretty good too.

Ship tip

Royal Caribbean classifies this trip as a weekend party trip. You don't need to be a partier to enjoy it. There is something for everyone and you can stay on your balcony the entire trip and never see anyone. Or you can join in with the crowd and have a good time. Unless you are an alcoholic, buy your drinks individually as the package is expensive and you have to purchase for the entire cabin.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Easy in and out of the port.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Did not have much time at Nassau but there is plenty to see and do.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Again, loads to do and it truly was a perfect day there.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were off the ship and in our rental car in less than 30 minutes. Unbelievable.
