Ship: Utopia of the Seas

Review summary

Strong party vibe for ALL ages (definitely family friendly). Spacious & aesthetically appealing. A lot to do in a limited amount of time, but I enjoyed trying!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
In spite of the havoc & delays caused by Hurricane Helene, the embarkation process was a breeze. The port did not open until 2:30 pm and we boarded the ship within 15 minutes. Please Note - we parked at the pier, arriving shortly after 2 pm.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Very happy to report I noticed major improvements with the food (options & taste) since I sailed on the Wonder of the Seas (December 22’).

Set up like the Windjammer on Wonder of the Seas with the wrap around seating - nice & spacious.

It’s a party!

Music Hall

A total vibe! Our stateroom was on the same floor but we had no issues with the weekend events going on, in our stateroom or even walking to the stateroom.

Service and Staff

Friendly, engaging and inclusive in all venues!

Ship tip

3 days is definitely toooooo short. 4 days isn’t that long either but it’s longer than 3! The option to combine a 3 & 4 day sailing is available for those who really want to experience the ship & don’t care about repeating the itinerary.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The process for self service guests is usually straightforward and smooth - my expectations were met.

Thank You! 2 other notable mentions….. A). There’s limited seating at the Royal Railway & it sells out quickly. I happened to catch an opening. My friend did not. B). The shows book up quickly online, but if you go to the ‘Box Office’ once on board, they do their best to accommodate you & your schedule. As well as provide alternate options. The staff was extremely cool & engaging.
