Ship: Tahitian Princess

Cabin type: Inside

Review summary

The ship was extremely well organized - never any lines. The food was consistently excellent and served cheerfully. The cabin was always clean. The shore transportation was frequent and quick, with iced drinks waiting on shore. Best of all was being allowed on board early andallowed to stay on board until our late flight.

Ports of call

Raiatea, French Polynesia

Rented a car to visit the gardens and religious sites. No crowds and lots to see.

Moorea, French Polynesia

The scenery is magnificent, but beaches are scarce. You need a boat to do any decent snorkeling.

Bora Bora, French Polynesia

3 out of 5
Go to the beach at Matira(?) for great swimming - coral free. Beware the $3 fee to use the bathroom. The cab drivers were dependable, returning exactly on time. It isn't obvious that this is the most beautiful island in the world anymore.

Huahine, French Polynesia

The speaker Doug advised us of a nice beach to visit. He was great.

Rarotonga, Cook Islands

Toured the island in a cab driven by the former king's grandson. Lots of fun.
Don't Miss: Sailboat races at the beach/yacht club.

Papeete, Tahiti

Did not go ashore here as nothing interested us

Pros: Their genuine efforts to make things pleasant for us.

Cons: The comedians were so-so.
