Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Our group did the unlimited dining package that was worth the price. Before sailing we thought it was expensive but it was really worth it. Food was excellent.

Chop's Grille

5 out of 5

Chops- 5 star (favorite restaurant). Recommend the 9oz filet over all the meat options & ask for them to butterfly it- very tender. Tuna appetizer or shrimp appetizer are excellent. Crab cake appetizer is good also. There is a main entrees that is a spicy shrimp dish that is outstanding. Dessert favorite was Royal cheesecake with fresh raspberries on top. Red velvet cake is a close second. Bring your appetite because most times you are too full to eat dessert. They do let you take dessert with you to go. Excellent service

Jamie's Italian

5 out of 5

There is a pasta appetizer with truffle sauce that is excellent. Lamb chops that are infused with mint flavor are delicious. Do not recommend vodka ziti type dish- it’s more of a marinara sauce. Tiramisu was excellent. Good desserts. There’s also an appetizer that they have a variety of cheeses & meats on a plank that is excellent also. Excellent service

El Loco Freshâ„

4 out of 5

Food was ok for a quick snack but very busy with people/ lines.

Hooked Seafood

5 out of 5

Very good experience at Hooked. There was a ceviche appetizer that was really good. Requested a small bowl of chowder instead of a big bowl & it was really good. Two pound Maine lobster was great but despite being cracked for you it’s messy but so good. Regular lobster tails were excellent. I regret not trying the lobster rolls. Dessert favorite was coconut cream pie. Excellent service

Windjammer Marketplace

5 out of 5

Only ate light breakfast occasionally & we were satisfied. Ship tip: if you go around the corner to the other side of the dining room there’s an omelette bar. We didn’t use it but looked good. They do have avocado toast over there also. Large selection of everything

Diamond Club

5 out of 5

Smaller Diamond lounge on this ship with very few people if you like a quiet relaxing environment. I only go there to get coffee & it meets our needs. Very clean.

Ship tip

Book dining and internet packages before sailing because it saves you $ on cost. Our cruise friends got the Voom faster internet package & it met their needs. They thought they couldn’t sail on any ship because of internet needs for work. I told them about Starlink internet & it was a success for them thankfully. If you have any issues the Voom desk can figure anything out. You do a lot of walking on & off the ship so bring comfortable shoes.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
The port experience was excellent. Extremely organized. If you are traveling to Port Miami by car always leave lots of extra time to get there. There’s very heavy traffic and delays (occasionally) on the highway in Miami.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

If you don’t have an excursion planned, it’s fun to take the water taxi over to front street. It costs around $7/ adult for the full day. Once you get off the ship there’s a booth to buy the tickets there. Once the water taxi takes you across, walk straight to front street & turn left. There’s a store there called Leather World International. It’s at Front Street 71, Phillipsburg. The leather & designer jackets are beautiful & very reasonable. They also have mens & women’s shoes in the back. We’ve bought a lot from them over the years & I can guarantee these are good quality. The mens shoes are soft leather & they last. Another fun tip is there’s a nice little spot once you get off the water taxi (to the right) where you can get a bucket of beer, free WiFi & two chairs on the waterfront for really cheap. We didn’t go there this time but it’s called TruLove or something similar to that name

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Great time. Definitely find “snack shack” for their crispy chicken sandwich for lunch. Lots to do & a few cute shops for T-shirt, hats, etc. Weather & water was beautiful
