Embarkation

5 out of 5
Incredibly easy embarkation. Download the Royal Caribbean app, display the bar code on your sailing summary and you are waved through to board the ship. By far the easiest embarkation process I have ever experienced!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The Marketplace was the breakfast/lunch buffet area and it was fantastic. Very clean, excellent service and spacious. Only once was it tough to find a table and that was on embarkation day. The variety of foods was impressive. Lots of ethnic specialties as well which my wife loved (Indian, etc.). We had a great meal at Chops (steakhouse). The service, food and wine was outstanding. Jamie's Italian was equally good. They do bring an impressive amount of food (all the apps and pastas were brought in addition to our entree) and it is very good. We had a table of 8 and the seating was a bit tight but otherwise a great experience. Izumi, the sushi restaurant was good, not great. The service was so-so and it was rather pricey for a specialty restaurant. Lastly the main dining room was also good, not great. The staff was outstanding in the main dining room. The main dining room food was ok but, inconsistent at times. For example, my salmon dish was cold and not so yummy.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Tons to do. In fact I've never been on a ship with so much to do! Laser tag, the Abyss slides, the flow-riders, the zip line, the rock wall and so much more. Something for everyone and lots of it!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Solid entertainment. The Jazz Club was a personal favorite and was Flight, the stage show.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Obviously well trained. The staff were always asking what they could do to make our vacation better. Our cabin steward Romeo could not do enough for us. The staff consistently exceeded our expectations for sure.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is an amazing ship that never feels like there are 5000 people aboard. There are 7 unique "neighborhoods" -Boardwalk, Central Park, Royal Promenade and Pool and Sports Zone are the bomb!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Above average size-wise. The shower was super spacious compared to other ships. Lots of closet space (his and hers) but my larger suitcases would not fit under the bed. That was a problem.

Ship tip

Go to the celebration in the Royal Promenade at midnight (usually day 2)! It's like New Years eve! Also dont miss laser tag!

Ports of call

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
Did not tour the island but took a super fun catamaran excursion. What a blast!

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Best day at the beach ever!

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Getting off the ship was super easy and few lines. It was a bit of a zoo on the street in front of terminal. Have a plan to avoid lines and general chaos.
