The cruise and ship was fabulous, incredible, phenomenal!!!! We love TA's and will do another next year on Rhapsody Of The Seas - can't wait! Only wish there was an Oasis Class doing a TA next year!
The critique above is not to detract from the Symphony of the Seas and the staff.

Nothing was 'excellent' including the specialty restaurants. But for a cruise ship all the food was good. Drinks are always great though! Yet they could stand to have Vintages staffed a little better. Always a wait to order.
Onboard Activities

If you can't find something to do, (including just sleep!) on Symphony then I'm not sure what you could be looking for! We loved the pools, fitness center, track on Deck 5 is the best! And also all the other activities!

All shows were phenomenal! Flight was over the top and 1977 was great with all of the dr.... woops! Go see for yourself!
Service and Staff

My only comment is the wait staff are not trained based on the cuisine they are serving in the specialty restaurants. If they work in Hooked then teach them a little about seafood. Our server tried but she didn't know a thing about the food she was serving.
Finally I always hate when the dining staff asks how they did. As I told the Head Waiter "If you have to ask then you didn't do very well!" If they want a good review then do a good job and they will get one but don't beg for a good review!
Ship Quality

It was brand new! How could it not be clean! But the layout and design was great! The toilets on the pool decks were always spotless and dry! (Except for 1 time that I observed.)
Cabin / Stateroom

We were on Deck 11 and the Cabin was great. My only comment (as on other ships) is the air vent in the shower gets moldy quick and they never seem to clean it.
This was a disaster! We had to go through customs in Canaveral and wasted over half a day! We should be credited by RC. I expect to go through customs AFTER I finish the cruise and it is on my dime! But RC made it sound as if we were getting a full day in Canaveral and we absolutely did not! Fortunately we never made plans but it was an inconvenience!
The 'new' terminal was not very well set up for cabs, shuttles, buses, etc. Lines were long and no one was directing so you had to constantly ask where to go. We got a cab and the cab area was a mess!
