A: I take 5-6 thin felt hangars every cruise I’ve been on. I pack too much lol

Answered by bmastin67 on May 9, 2022

A: Probably not nearly enough. I always have a number of wire hangers in the bottom of my suitcase

Answered by Barbz5768350 on May 10, 2022

A: I pack a rolling garment bag with a lot of clothes already of hangers. There usually aren't enough in the closet. However, our last cruise on Harmony, there were a ton of hangers. They're bigger than the ones I bring and take up more room so I didn't... use them.See More

A: I cruised with my mom (we always pack too much), and in our Grand Suite we had hangers galore, plus lots of empty drawers and cabinets we didn't use. if you need more though, your room steward should be able to get you some.

Answered by kdlady on May 13, 2022

A: I always bring extra ones when I travel because I prefer the think felt hangers.

A: If you leave the balcony door open, the AC in your room will shut off.

Answered by kdlady on May 5, 2022

A: Yes you are allowed. The ac won’t turn on unless your balcony door is closed and locked. If there’s a nice cool breeze at night I usually leave my door open. Have a great cruise!

Answered by Aurora1430 on May 5, 2022

A: i always get a balcony so I can do that very thing. i love sleeping with the ocean air.

Answered by crumcrushers on May 7, 2022

A: Very hard to do - watch my husband drink and not me?!?! Ha ha listen if you only drink 6 drinks a day it pays for itself. That’s not very many really. Over a long fun cruise day. If I’m cruising i would Never ever not get a drink pkg. I’m on vacation... !!!! The last thing i wanna worry about is paying expensive cocktail prices individually as is the norm, or have to worry omg am i at my limit on purchases. I’m not a heavy drinker until i cruise but I’m never drunk! and a bonus of a drink pkg is— hey i don’t like this cocktail let me try another. Just get it!! You’ll be glad you did. For us it’s a no brainer. I’ve not purchased in the past and i paid more in the end.See More

Answered by bmastin67 on April 30, 2022

A: buy the drink package, I look for any sale on the package. I have found sales on the package more than 6 months out, such as less than $60 a day per person

Answered by dgm10cruise on April 30, 2022

A: No. Just get the drink pkg! It pays for itself after 6 drinks per day. You don’t want to limit your fun! Just enjoy your vacation!

Answered by bmastin67 on April 30, 2022

A: No... RCL is very strict about if one puchases the drink package both need to purchase it. Yes they do allow for medical exemptions, but you need a Drs note as to the medical condition. If your bot going to drink enough to pay for two packages, t... hen just don't buy any package and just pay as you go.See More

Answered by CVCruiser on April 28, 2022

A: No, both people have to purchase. Look for sales before you cruise. Remember this includes specialty coffee, fresh juice, bottled/sparkling water and soft drinks. We get 3-4 bottles of water a day each so it’s really worth it.

Answered by agfstamps on May 2, 2022

A: real deals in Roatan

Answered by needsun on April 29, 2022

A: I've been on many cruises and stopped getting ripped off on their cruise line excursions many years ago. I've had great success with Viator, Shore Excursioneer, and the Shipmate app. Never had an issue. They have the ship schedules down like clockwor... k and make a living by being on time. do yourself a favor and try an independent excursion provider - you'll find they're better and cheaper!See More

Answered by kdlady on May 4, 2022

A: We have booked local tour companies a few times, though now days we tend to explore on our own.... Sometimes rent a scooter or ATV/Jeep / Smart car and get away from the normal tourist spots. MUCH better deals when dealing with locals vs tourist spot... s! 👍 The only downside is when you boom with RCL your guarwnteed to get on the ship. So if your a newbie traveler, it might be best to stick with the ship.See More

Answered by CVCruiser on April 29, 2022

A: Personally i would not go anywhere except with the cruise line excursions. Just my opinion. If something happened and your group was late getting back- the ship would wait. If another excursion company- they wouldn’t. It’s safer. We did do a bus thin... g in Belize right at port - not thru ship- and started out kinda scary since it was just us and our kids- but the bus driver was very nice. I just would only sign up thru cruise linesSee More

A: Get tours on shipmates. They are smaller but nice

Answered by pmt707 on May 3, 2022

A: We have used Viator for excursions with no problems. The excursion tour companies are well aware of the ship departure times, and the last thing they want is for anyone to miss their ship and rightfully risk a bad review from said passengers. They... also tend to have more of a selection from which to choose. We’ve had no problems with Viator at all. Best of luck to you, and I hope y’all enjoy your cruise!See More

A: take a cup with lid. get juice and pour in your cup keep it in the fridge in your room.

Answered by emstpls on March 24, 2022

A: You are allowed to bring on non alc drinks I believe a 12 pack so I don’t see why they wouldn’t let you bring on like a thing of bottled juices like 12oz tropicanas or whatever juice you like. Should be fine you just make sure it’s with your carry on... stuff and not checked luggage.See More

Answered by CruizIan on March 24, 2022

A: I agree with the post about bringing on non alcoholic drinks. In addition, if you need distilled water, etc., you can call ahead and they bring it so why not call ahead and ask them how they can accommodate your medical need. I'm sure they will.

Answered by loriad28 on June 27, 2022

A: what about bringing a piece of fruit back to your room? It will last throughout, probably the entire cruise (if u dont need it). and it doesn't need refrigerated.

A: Anyone who thinks we will lockdown in the USA again, is definitely NOT paying attention. It will NEVER happen again!!

Answered by CVCruiser on June 27, 2022

A: I would imagine they would handle it rhe same as they have during all of covid... meaning if they cancel the cruise, or you test positive and cant go, then they would refund your money.

Answered by CVCruiser on March 17, 2022

A: Unfortunately, COVID is still out there. Cruiselines have been very quick to refund or rebook at your preference. Hopefully we both will be just fine in Oct. my husband and I are cruising then as well🙏🤞

Answered by Mountainlife73 on June 27, 2022

A: Well if a Covid wave occurs maybe the company does refund depending the issue or let you change date.. if you have a Covid Insurance you must call the company for more info
