Princess always maintains the highest degree of professional staff. Do not recommend Lotus Spa - very intimidating (book a facial and they will present a \"program\" for you - with products totalling more than $1,000). Be VERY FIRM when you book a service and do not get coerced into additional services. BEWARE - services are discounted towards end of cruise - and you can save more than $20 on a facial.

The ship was clean and well serviced.

Accomodations and service were superb. Food was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, there was not a sour face among them and they never said no.

The venue was spectacuar, the staff pampered. A lovely way to spend a week!!

We had a wonderful time on the cruise. The ship and the crew were awesome and paid great attention to detail. The food and wait staff were excellent. I would suggest this cruise to anyone who really needs to get away and needs some relaxation.

Nothing over the top from friendliness of staff to the missing towel animals that everyone has come to expect. Food was so so. Poor embarkment/disembarkment. Not on their timetable. Staff seemed new and very green. Not enough time in ports, especially Victoria, which was a huge disappointment. Excursion in Victoria was painful (freebie from Cheaptickets). Open top bus with very cold conditions and the driver (who plugged in a CD for the entire trip) just drove around for 90 minutes without stopping. What a waste of time. We should have stuck with the Princess excursions.

The ship was really nice our room was very spacious and clean. They had a wide variety of swimming pools indoor and out. The casino was really fun and the staff was very helpful. The food was wonderful and the waiters were excellent.

Pools were great with plenty adult only areas.

Star princess was great. The crew & captain always talked so you knew what was happening. The service on Star was excellent as was the food

just below average They lost by luggage taking it off the ship and placing it on the dock in Rio de Janeiro. They said that it could take 4-6 weeks to find, and if they found it, I would have to pay to get my suitcase shipped to my home.

On deck 7 aft. starboard side there was a constant foul smell.

Everyone on princess deliveries great customer service, it's a wonderful cruiseline, with great quality for your money.

This is our second time to take Star Princess. The previous one was to South America. Both cruises were great and we sure love Star Princess. We enjoyed the dance music at Explorer's Lounge.

Friendly and helpful staff

I found everything to be beyond my expectations. The service and the organization to get everyone off and on the ship was friendly and quick. The ship was beautiful and clean. I loved it all.

The ship was lovely, clean, and convenient. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

The ship was OK! The room was good, except our view was of the small boats on the side of the ship.... it was our honeymoon and I feel we didn't get treated that way! The shows were not very good, so we mostly stayed in the casino to pass time!

Some of the ship was confusing - to get to our restaurant we had to go upstairs to be able to go downstairs

If you like Denny's food, you will give the food a good rating. We know the difference and feel this was the worst food out of all the cruises we have ever taken. The parent co Carnival must have cut the food budget. I hope they leave Holland America's food budget alone. Karaoke only lasted 1 hour even tho they had a great crowd. The sanctuary was a great feature of the ship. The staff was 2nd to none. THE FOOD RUINED THE CRUISE FOR US>
