This was a very good cruise with consistently good food, and the majority of the staff seemed like they actually cared if everything was alright with your vacation. All of our expectations were met and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. This has been one of the better cruises that we have ever taken, even compared to other luxury cruise lines that we have been on.

The MDR and specialty restaurants food was still very good, with constant quality and efficient service in the areas that we engaged. The buffet food needs work decreasing the carbohydrates and increasing the proteins.

We had nine sea days on this trip, so the expert speakers and the new movies in the theater saved the day.
Entertainment

The Star's singers and dancers contract ran out while in Hawaii and we received another group of singers and dancers that had not worked together, and it showed.

Of the 30+ cruises that we have taken, the staff on the Star rate in our top 5. Their attitude was always positive and we were treated with respect.

Older ship but in good condition. We prefer smaller designed ships with elevators that work.

If you go to any of the early shows (7:00), make sure that you arrive 30 minutes early because it will be standing room only when it starts.
