Review summary

This was a very nice cruise. We only had day of rough seas, but I took a Bonine most days at sea and felt fine. If you are wanting the cruising experience this is great. If you are wanting to see Hawaii, fly and stay a week or two!

The Princess Band was extremely good. The only program we didn't go to the second show of was for the singer, Allison. (I don't remember her last name.) She was a good singer, but maybe a little "over the top" for our liking.

The seats in the Princess theater are aging and need to be updated. Most of the seat bottoms leaned too far forward making you feel like you are sliding forward. Other than that it's good.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had the beds together the first night. This left us with very tight quarters to move around in. We had the room steward change them to two twin beds and the extra space was now in the middle of the room and it really made the room feel bigger. We didn't spend much time there.

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

We drove down, stayed overnight at the Doubletree in San Pedro. They have free parking and a free shuttle to and from the port. Of course we tipped the driver both ways.

We went on the L.A. Cette and Dona Lupe wine tour. The wines were very good! We did buy a couple of bottles. We were told the fees at port would be low. Can't confirm this as we weren't charged anything!
