The weather did not cooperate. The water was choppy and ruff, It was cold, overcast, windy, and rainey all the way. The ship was beatiful, and the service exceptional. The food was very good and plentifull. I had a ADA room and it was spaceous.

Review summary

In spite of the bad weather and my having to use a wheelchair and not being able to go on tours, it was a lovely trip because of the ship and the Princess personnel.

Arrived at the curb to unload our luggage and it was immediately picked up by ship personnel to go to our room. Another person took my wheelchair and took me thru security and to my room. Could not have been easier or faster.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

High Tea at Portfinos was wonderful. We did not go to the Crown Grill or Sabatini's as there was so much wonderful food at the other venues.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I loved the crafts, lectures and movies. We played Bingo and Casino. It was too cold for the pools.

The shows I saw were good.

Princess Theater

This venue had an excellent view of the stage for Wheel Chairs, Walkers, and motor scooters. That made the performance more enjoyable.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff was wonderful and personable. Valmar at Horizon Court was always there to help me and my daughter could help herself and not have to juggle plates for both of us. Every time we left our room, Christian cleaned it. The waiters at High Tea could not have been more attentive. Waiters at dinner were right there to refill our drinks or if there was anything we wanted.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I do not know about ship's design. It was easy enough to maneuver my wheelchair down the hallways and into the elevators . The laundromat was the only place we had a problem getting into and out of. They were constantly cleaning or fixing the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was an ADA room. It had plenty of room for my oxygen and wheelchair to be out of the road. My attendant and I each had our own bed, dresser, and closet room. it was very spacious. I wish I could bring the bathroom shower home with me. Lots of hot water and excellent drainage.

Ship tip

Make sure your Credit Card has a large available balance. There are so many wonderful shops on board.

The ship gave us excellent instructions and luggage tags ahead of time as well as time options. We tagged our luggage and put it outside our door the night before. That morning we got dressed and put our stuff in our carry on bags. We went to breakfast at Horizon Court and then to the area specified for ADA persons. When they called our color and number, a crew member took me and my attendant in the wheelchair thru security, customs, and down to the luggage. A porter took my daughter to secure all our luggage and came to take it and me to the curb. My daughter's neighbor was there with my car in a few minutes. Easy Peasy.
