Enjoyed cruise very much. Liked the length, plenty of time to relax. Would have liked to spend more time actually in Hawaii. Glad this was not our first time in Hawaii. Excellent entertainment.
Embarkation

Would have been great if there was not an alert that required evacuating terminal.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Dinner at Sabatini's was great! Buffet breakfast & lunch was excellent. Our only disappointment was in some of the dinners, especially when steak was served. No one at our table could even cut the meat much less eat it. The night we had filet was the exception.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The cruise director & staff were excellent & had such a sense of humor. We loved the game shows & also the naturalist presentations.
Entertainment

Every performer was the best we have ever seen, especially the showdancers.
Service and Staff

Every one on the staff was excellent
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Everything on the ship was clean but understand due to be renovated. Ships layout left a lot to be desired. All elevators did not stop at all floors and wait was too long. In the Princess main theatre could not understand why you had to go up stairs only to go down. Entry ways were way too small, not the grandeur you would expect.
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved our cabin, especially having a balcony.
Ship tip
Aloha deck tends to be a little noisy since it is below the buffet. Take a deck lower.
Went on Botanical Garden tour which was wonderful. Lunch was to be at a "gazebo" overlooking Rainbow Falls. Gazebo was more like a shed but view was fabulous & tour guide was great.
Ship tours to Pearl Harbor were booked so travel agent booked us with another company & it was better.
Smaller van & very nice. Tour to Pearl Harbor was very moving & very informative. Went to Germain luau in evening & that gave you a real taste of Hawaii.
The Star has an adults only pool on the stern. Grab a good book and sit on the rear deck and watch the water go by while you sun. A bar back there also makes it convenient to lounge and enjoy. I love the sea days because there is a lot to do (my wife loved the art auctions) and plenty of time to relax. As Princess says, we came back new!
