Review summary
The agent I spoke with was very adamant that Princess was a step above the other cruise line we had enjoyed, so we booked our trip. Unfortunately, he was completely wrong. The meals were lousy. The buffets were very small and had little selection, and the food was often dried out, even at mealtimes. The dining room food was scarcely better. It looked good but had little flavor. None of the meals were memorable. My next issue was the bed. It was broken down in the middle, and very uncomfortable. The ship was clean, the personnel were efficient, but unless you are interested in art, take another cruise.Ports of call
Pros: The art auction and the auctioneer, Nino Barette, were marvellous!
Cons: Bland, poorly prepared food. NOT what we expected from Princess.
Recommends Star Princess? No.
