Review summary

Overall, it was a great cruise. Get a balcony if you can, because it's great to spend the cruising days watching from your room. The scenery is spectacular & never-ending. Oh, & if you get seasick, get a Scopolamine patch from your doctor. I get it bad, but with the patch & some Queasy Beads I felt pretty great! I would say that this cruise is the best way to see that part of Alaska for sure.

The food was very good, however my group wished there was more salmon served aboard. It's something we think of as an Alaskan specialty, so we were disappointed it was only offered one way: hazelnut encrusted.

Ship tip

Bring an eye mask if you have a balcony or porthole, because sleeping in the summer is quite difficult with the sun out practically all night. There are curtains, but the sun still came in through the sides. Another tip: this would be great for someone who is not well. They could see everything from the balcony, and with room service & the ability to take food from the buffet there's really no need to leave the room!

We take gengar root capsules, much cheaper.
