Loved the cruise to Hawaii. Loved the sail days aboard ship, as that was when we truly relaxed.

Embarkation was without incident. BUT - we had used Prime Time Shuttle to transport us from LAX to the San Pedro cruise terminal and this was a totally frustrating experience! They took an hour to come pick us up, with 2 shuttles passing us up while we waited - then as it was a shared ride, we went to Long Beach first before San Pedro (last on, first off!). I cancelled our return trip with Prime Time Shuttle before our luggage was picked up by the porter at the cruise terminal! Lesson learned!

Actually, our stateroom had to be moved from B431 to A617 because the air conditioning system would not work. That was a bit of a disappointment to us, as we were actually downgraded a bit in the room exchange - but I have requested reimbursement of the room cost difference from the Santa Clarita, CA main office. We will see how they respond....
Had booked an Introduction to Scuba tour through ShoreFox for this port, but it was cancelled due to possible stormy weather. My husband really enjoyed the Princess zip line tour here.
Enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center tour here in Honolulu. Very interesting and entertaining. My husband had to cancel his ShoreFox Introduction to Scuba tour, as he got stuck with packing our luggage to move to our new stateroom with working air conditioning.
We rented a scooter from the Island, and had a great time on our own tour. Next time, we will rent a car, as that scooter ride was a bit too much for our old person bodies.
