Overall the Alaskan cruise on the Star Princess is a highly recommended cruise. Ports were excellent. Ship and crew were great and the weather was absolutely wonderful.....

Embarkation

Embarkation was a breeze. Once we were at the port It took approximately 20 -30 minutes and we were on the ship.

The specialty restaurants had absolutely wonderful food. The main dining halls had very good food and the Buffet was ok.....it was buffet food and was about what we had expected.

Onboard Activities

There was plenty of onboard activities for the kids and there was always something going on for us to attend such as educational/informative seminars. And of course the casino was alway ready to keep us entertained

The ship is due for a rehab therefore she is showing her age. That being said, it was very clean and still attractive.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our Aft cabin was great. It had great room at about 550 square feet and a huge balcony. It had a full dining table that could handle four people. We took full advantage and ordered room service several mornings and enjoyed the space.
