Review summary

A friend of ours daughter was getting married aboard the Sovereign of the Seas and we were extended the invitation to cruise with the family. We were over whelmingly impressed with the whole experience beginning with the inital introduction of the wedding planner (upon our arrival at the port) to the ending of the reception. We were well versed as to where to go, refreshments prior to the ceremony were plentiful, the ceremony itself was nice, the entertainment was good, the reception was excellent. All crew members and staff were helpful, cordial and pleasant. Not a beat was missed.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

It was an experience to visit but I would not go back. I thought the area to be dumpy and crowded.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Plenty of activities. We enjoyed snorkeling and lounging on the beach.

Plenty of activities. We enjoyed snorkeling and lounging on the beach.

Pros: The food and ambiance

Cons: The weather was the worst part of the weekend. Too hot and humid to enjoy the promenade deck in the evening.
