Review summary

We recently cruised on the Soverign of the Seas. The ship was very clean and beautiful. The food was great, be sure to take advantage of the free buffet and pizza! We sat outside deckside the whole time. The waiters brought drinks around as we relaxed in lounge chairs. The views were great! The islands were a little crowded and busy but offered a lot to do. The beaches were very pretty.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Take advantage of the free food! It is great and even has healthy options.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shore excursions were spendy and we found cheaper alternatives on shore offered by other companies. We did not go to any shows offered on the ship. The spa was nice but not "spa" quality as I expected for the price.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The stateroom attendent was the best service that we got! There were people taking professional photos everywhere, got a little annoying as we were trying to eat!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is old but very clean and pretty.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The attendents kept the rooms exceptionally clean. The staterooms were larger than I expected.

Ports of call

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Good if you dont mind crowds. Go beyond the crowds to a more private area to get peace and quiet.
Don't Miss: sunning on the beach

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
People were friendly but the ship could have offered more shore excursions or ideas for how to spend the day. Dont waste your time at Senior Frogs- overpriced and the food was not too good. There were a lot of people selling their tours or products, very neat to see!
Don't Miss: the straw market.

Pros: The views and cleanliness of the ship and rooms

Cons: The crowds
