Review summary

It is very well kept and beautifully decorated. We were pleased to see that they had added a couple new restaurants along with new nightclubs. The food in the dining room was very good. The breakfast service was excellent. The dinner service was not as good. It seemed that possibly there was one attentent missing and we were always running out of drinks and waiting for our food.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was delicious and something new was offered every night. We would have liked a choice of having a garden salad.

Service and Staff

Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We have been spoiled by your larger, newer ship. However, for the size and year of the Sovereign, it is an impressive ship. It is very easy to find your way around and it is very clean. Everything was in excellent shape. The only problem we had was in trying to retrive our e-mails on your internet system. It was deathly slow so it made it expensive to use.

Cabin / Stateroom

You get what you pay for. The room was clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was the water running onto the bathroom floor when we took a shower. That hasn't changed since our first cruise on this ship.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

Paradise Island is a must. We took a two hour tour of the city and our driver was extremely knowledgeable about history and current afairs. We really enjoyed it.
Don't Miss: The Atlantis

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

We have gone parasailing and went on the jetski and both were a blast. There are plenty of chaise lounges and/or hammocks for everyone's enjoyment.
Don't Miss: Parasailing, the beaches - just everything.

Pros: Room Service

Cons: Dining room service
