Let me start off saying if I could give 0 stars I would. We booked the Club Class mini suite because of the amenities they offered compared to balcony rooms that we usually get. When we arrived in our suite, we noticed no wine or canapés were in the room as per the information sent to us. When I inquired at the Guest Services area about the missing amenities, the gentleman I spoke to asked me to wait a moment and handed me two printouts and proceeded to tell me that we did NOT have the Club Class but the regular mini suite. I asked for a manager and Monica came up front. I explained the situation and she said to give her a moment. After about 5 minutes she came back and said we were not in a Club Class mini suite. I then pulled up my confirmation which listed the following amenities: $100 Visa Prepaid Card for booking a Suite. $25 OBC from Princess for booking last minute savings rate. Exclusive Resident of Florida Rate. Exclusive Perks for booking a Suite aboard Princess. Exclusive and priority Club Class Dining (Including Specialty Dining) with exclusive dining menu options for Mini Suite Class. Priority Embarkation and Debarkation Invitation to Captain's Club Dinner Complimentary Room Service with 24-hour options. Complimentary Breakfast delivered every morning Complimentary turn down services including Wine, Canapes, and Chocolates. Terry Shaw bath robes Cotton Luxury Linens and Towels Monica took a picture of it and said she would check into it. My husband and I went a shore for the day. When we came back 6 hours later, we went to check and see if Monica had a solution. She explained to my husband that the supervisors have been on shore all day and no one was there that she could speak with. My husband explained that there had to be someone of authority on board the ship she could have spoke to in the last 6 hours to make the situation right. We walked away fuming at this point because no one wanted to make the situation right. We went to dinner and was tracked down by Monica and Giuseppe who was her boss. They said the situation was "green lighted" and everything was fixed so we would receive the amenities we paid for. They offered to move us to the specialty dining area right then but we were fine sitting in the area we were in that night since we were already eating our dinner. When we went to our room after dinner NOTHING had changed except for the wine being there. No upgraded linens, towels, robes or canapés. When we went to dinner the next night and tried to enter the special dining area we were not so politely informed we were not Club Class and could not sit there. We explained we were and that it should have been reflected in our profile. She then went to get the manager and when the manager saw us she waived us back. (Monday) we called room service at 9:30pm requesting ice tea and ice. We gave up waiting around 11pm. At 12:45am there was a knock at our door waking us up saying room service. When my husband got up and opened the door it was our request being delivered 3 1/2 hours later. We spoke to another couple who had requested room service at 9 pm. At 10:15pm they called and cancelled the order so they could go to bed. At 12:30am room service showed up waking them up with their order. (Tuesday) We visited the "Adults Only" pool area for an afternoon. When we got out, I wrapped a towel around my waist and proceeded to our stateroom to take a shower and get ready for dinner. When I looked down I saw my swim suit had gone from a neon peach to almost totally white. I called down to Guest Services and inquired as to what kind of chemicals they use in their pool because it bleached my swim suit out. I was told that the chemicals were put in according to the Health and Safety codes. I explained to the young lady that answered what had happened and she basically said "oh well". Later on that evening I found out another passenger's suit had been bleached out also. (Wednesday) We got back from being on shore early afternoon and went to eat. We requested ice tea as that is all I drink. We were informed they had run out. Please keep in mind we are only 4 days into an 8 day cruise. I saw the manager of the buffet area and asked about the ice tea. He said it was true they had run out. I then asked if that meant we would not have any the rest of the cruise and he said "Yes". In general the attitude of most of the crew is that we are bothering them if we ask for assistance. When we pass a crew member in the hallway, we acknowledge them and they turn their head or look down and don't reply. The BEST part of the cruise so far has been the Spa personnel who have gone above and beyond to make sure our experience with them is more than satisfactory. Jay Anne and Dr. B are awesome. It has been a wasted 4 days so far not to mention the money we have spent on a cruise that has been nothing but stressful and less than enjoyable. We are dreading the next 3 days. We will NOT be returning.Embarkation
