We had an overall good time on the cruise. All food was good. Including the buffet and evening dining. We did not eat in the pay restaurants. The staff was attentive and congenial. The coffee was mostly good. Drinks at the bars were well done and not overpriced. Try the MaiTai. Not happy about the $15 corking fee for personal wine. I read a previous review here dated 1/19/2020 which coincided with our dates for our cruise that mentioned Legionnaires disease. It did not clarify where this person acquired it so it leaves one to assume he got it on the boat. I doubt he got it on the Sky Princess. There were no warnings to guests about Illness on our cruise. The boat was taking on new guests shortly after we got off.
Embarkation

Very easy
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
All food was good. Some better than others but that all depends on your tastes.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
All outside activities on Sky Princess are weather dependent....pools, big screen, walkways, bars and dining. We experienced moderately heavy seas so the pools were closed for a couple of days. Along with the waves there was a strong wind most of the time we had the waves. Just the luck of the draw.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
We were a part of the Jimmy Sturr Polka Cruise group so we had scheduled private entertainment. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I saw two of the ship’s entertainers on the big stage. They were good enough but the sound system was not complimentary to them.
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was polite and attentive.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
After finally getting oriented it was no problem getting around. Common areas seemed clean and well maintained. The ship is “new” but having over 3,000 people in your living room everyday will wear things out in short time. Trash cans seems rare in the common areas.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin was roomy enough. Would not want to be in one any smaller. Cabin was clean at all times.
Ship tip
Download the Princess Medallion app. Also the companion Compass app at a minimum.
Buffett was a cookout meal. Burgers, dog, beans, etc. Not a gourmet meal but good enough. Also fresh fruit and desserts. Princess sanctioned shops inside the fence that were exorbitant in their prices. T-shirts for $30? No thank you. It was OK but if we ever did another Caribbean cruise with them we wouldn’t get off the boat.
Did an excursion that was cut short because of the seas. Gave partial refund. Also offered full refund if you wanted to opt out completely. Should have opted out.
Adequate. Could have been better directions to the independent shuttles. However the process of getting out is good. Princess offers a deal where you pay $25 each and they take your bags through customs, to the airport, obtain your boarding passes. Next time you see your luggage is at your home baggage claim. Best to use this when you have independent transportation to the airport.
