This ship is no different than any of their other ones. They added the Medallion at a huge expense. The only positive to it is your entry into your cabin. They advertise get a drink anywhere but everytime we tried to use it it wasn't available in that area! Like the theater a hot tub on the side of the ship etc...

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
This was our 5th cruise with Princess (1 other on Royal Caribbean) and I can tell you this was the worst experience in the main dining room we have ever had! Terrible service - ordered a drink before dinner, wine with dinner (which almost never showed up until we were done) and after dinner drink took over 20 minutes minimum. The shortest time in the dining room was 1.25 hours usually 1.5
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Fitness Center, theater, pools - really missed not having a game room as did others - comments we made on a sea day at what a pathetic "game day" offered with some cheap, cheesy games in a dining room
Entertainment

this is one area Princess shines over Royal
Service and Staff

Room steward was good, waiter was fair at best
Ship Quality

clean - yes. I think Princess spent all their money on Medallion Class (which is worthless at best except entry into your cabin) on this new ship and really missed an opportunity to stand out from other cruise lines. Royal's newest ship puts this one to shame - not really even comparable
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We were in a mini suite on the Aloha deck - very nice and really thought of everything in the design
Ship tip
Eat in the buffet line - same food and much quicker
Sorry you felt like that. We have never had a problem with Princess cruises.
We’re excited to travel on the Sky Princess in March. Excellent service and great customer experience.
