Don't go is all I can say. Yes, the cruise itself was OK and the tours were well run and informative. If they had better management and were better organized on the front end And did have a more diverse menu including some Irish dishes then over all it would be an OK cruise. Let's face it they need a more passenger oriented captain and for sure a real chief.
Embarkation

Terrible- No one was at the airport to meet us. She showed up only after a regal cruise person called her. Then she wanted us to sit around after spending all nite on airplanes fo god knows how long. We took a taxi to the port and then had to stand out in the weather for an hour while they checked passengers covid test results. Folks had to put up umbrellas as it sprinkled on us and no one gave a damn.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
This was listed as aan Ireland EMERSION cruise but they never served any Irish food. When the chief was asked about it he mumbled something about don't have Irish food. The F & B manager lied and said foreign foods were not available from their nethrland's supplier. But they have an asian diner and they had Greek Asian, and Cubian foods on their menu. Here we were in Ireland and the menu featured Idaho baked potato . The steak restaurant meat was 3rd rate very tough and not very well prepared.
Onboard Activities

Did not have much activity time. Can not comment on this
Entertainment

The comedian was very good. Balance was OK nothing spectacular.
Children's Programs
no children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The wait and room staff were all very good
I don't think the officers had their hearts in being passenger friendly. When in Bantry and folks were stuck on the dock for over 3 hours the management made no attempt to come ashore and explain the situation to the 200 plus of us standing there. No officer ever made an attempt to interact with us. Very poor ship management.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Yes the ship was clean and kept so by the crew. However, the rooms ae a bit small and the bathrooms are very tiny.
Cabin / Stateroom

Size? Like being in a closet. As above the tiny bathroom was the main complaint. You could sit on the toilet and take a shower concurrently. Very very tight.
Ship tip
Don't go !! Maybe if they had a better management team and a real chief you might be OK. But as it is the days we were on it , I say you can do much better elsewhere.
The tour was OK but when returning to the ship over 200 of the passengers were stranded on the pier and no one from management came off the ship to inform us of the problem. Only rumors that the officials had refused to let the ship tenders operate. But they did send wait staff over with some chairs and sandwiches. Big deal !! I called Oceanias offices and some woman said the management there knew about it and then she said " have a nice day". Can you think of anyless consideration than that ?? folks standing out in the sun over 3 hours and she didn't even say they were sorry. I guess that attitude was pervasive from the top down. Several folks around us said it best : We are not going on oceania again !!
Have to mention that the included lunch on our tour was TERRIBLE. Way to small a room and poor quality food.
