Review summary

Amazing cruise, highly recommend. The new SALT program is a great experience for people who love food and wine/cocktails.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Seamless and organized. We took a rapid test before embarking the cruise where they served water while we waited for 15 minutes; but other than that, everything felt normal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I dined off the ship a few nights, but the quality of the food was terrific. Atlantide (the main dining) was very good. Everyone on the ship loved this option. Spaccanapoli had excellent pizza. The Grill / Hot Rock was a very good option for a casual night. The new restaurant (SALT) was in a very nice dining room and had a good menu, but the menu changes based on the destination (no surcharge).

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We experienced the new SALT Lab a few times, where we had cooking lessons on locally-inspired dishes. They provide the recipes to repeat at home, which we have used. The SALT Bar was another highlight. It was a very chic and cozy bar, and the drinks were phenomenal.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was phenomenal -- the staff is beyond delighted to welcome back guests for the first time in 18+ months. I have been to hotels that have dialed down their customer service...this ship was the exact opposite.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was beautiful and the common areas were of course clean. The employees onboard are constantly cleaning the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I was in a Silver suite -- it was a large, very comfortable space. We had breakfast in our suite most mornings with daily butler service. The bathroom and shower were spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the balcony was large enough for two of us to lounge in.

Ashdod, Israel Did not visit port

This is an old itinerary. We went to Crete instead

Rhodes, Greece

5 out of 5
Spend time in Rhodes. Lindos is interesting, but I did not love it or find it as interesting as Rhodes. We also did not climb the Lindos Acropolis, but heard the views were magnificent.

Aghios Nikolaos, Crete

Souda (Chania), Crete

We did not expect this to be as charming as it was (it was a former military base in WWII), but the town and the streets are beautiful.
