Review summary

Silversea was simply not prepared to provide a luxury experience to their passengers on this cruise. The highlight of the cruise was the interaction and performance of the expedition staff.

Hectic and confusing at the hotel. Relatively speedy boarding the ship. Understaffed once onboard.

Lectures and expedition staff presentations were excellent. Pianist and guitarist were very good.

Butler and room steward were above average for the entire cruise. Bar and food service was horrible on the first leg and average on the second leg of cruise.

Drain problems fixed in a timely manner. Room was comfortable but not exceptional. Room steward was very intuitive and competent.
