Seven Seas Voyager

7 Night Russia & The Baltic (Copenhagen To Stockholm)

Sail date: August 21, 2010

Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

Cabin type: Balcony

Traveled as: Family (older children)

Reviewed: 14 years ago

Review summary

The ship itself is not the biggest nor the smallest. A good size to have plenty of folks to meet and greet, or just get lost in the crowd, whatever your pleasure. Enough to have a nice crowd for a show or other gathering, but not so many as to make it impossible to deal with the people. First class accommodations. Size and construction of all areas, public and private, is top drawer.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Plenty of choices (breakfast, lunch, snacks, in-suite service) and each simply outstanding. Quality and variety unimaginable.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Again, lots of choices and each of the highest caliber.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Always so nice and helpful. Always a smile on their faces, a pleasant greeting and a wish for the customer to have a nice day, enjoy their meal, etc.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Again, both in size and quality, just the best.

Ports of call

Tallinn, Estonia

A very picturesque city. Enjoyed browsing the shops.
Don't Miss: Making chocolate truffles at Pierre's.

Visby, Sweden

Didn't take an excursion here. Just walked around the town independently. But very pleasant and easy to do.
Don't Miss: The old church was a must-see

St. Petersburg, Russian Federation

5 out of 5
I had been in St. Petersburg once before on business, but only in the city for a few hours mostly overnight. But I saw enough to know that it was a city that had many sights to enjoy and that I had to come back. I was not disappointed.
Don't Miss: Peterhof and the fountains.

Helsinki, Finland

5 out of 5
Did not take an excursion here, but strolled the city.
Don't Miss: The Market Place.

Pros: All-inclusive; all balcony; no gratuities; food selection; quality of food; excursions; but perhaps most of all, attitude of the staff.

Cons: Wow. That's like asking, who is your least favorite child? There's not really any aspect of our cruise that was not special.
