Review summary

Everyone was very friendly, so much to do on board for such a small ship. This was one of our most memorable experiences. Be prepared, Seranade is a SMALL ship but makes up size with character.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Ate at the main dining room 4 of the seven days. Jess and Armondo were fantastic servers. We ate at the Windjammer the other nights. Food was mediocre at best. Comparable to Ryan's or Sizzlers. Some of the MDR theme nights, (Italian, caribbean, and Mexican) were a good way to prompt people to specialty dining $$$ or Windjammer. Don't forget, you can order multiple items from the menu, i.e., 2-3 shrimp cocktail, with a salad and crab cake, for example. Same with main course and dessert.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We played bingo, (did not win) Watched a few movies in the theater. It was nice, comfortable seating. Enjoyed the lady playing the piano, guy playing the guitar, trivia was fun with a lot of audience participation. There was many options to choose from to make the cruise experience fun. Being on one of the older, smallest ships, the rustic charm and scenic views made this ship one of the best cruise ships of the RC fleet. It may be small, but it has heart

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed all the shows, the song and dance shows are great, don't miss them. Ken, the cruise director, was funny, especially the love and marriage game.

Service and Staff

Our room was a basic cabin. I had NO idea how small it was, but it was comfortable and always clean. I never felt cramped in the shower, but man, was it tight quarters!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
One of the smallest, oldest ships with the best design personality of the RC fleet.

Cabin / Stateroom

WOW it was small but clean, quiet and we got some of the best nights sleeps. Need more outlets or a multi outlet cord available

Ship tip

Realize that you are on an older, SMALL cruise ship,

Took the pink bus hop on and off. Beautiful, loved our tour guide. Be prepared to walk hilly terrain.

Glad you enjoyed. We were on that ship in 2016. You can get a power strip with no surge..

Sorry about the food, but that seems to be the story on many lines now. Glad the rest of the trip was good.
