Review summary

If it wasn't for our great service we would not consider Royal again, even with a credit we have because of the day we missed. We had a ask to have a photo taken. Throughout our cruise we watched photographers take photos of "couples" (men&woman) or people traveling as a group but never did they approach us. Neither of us are much drinkers so it didn't bother with the lack of servers walking around taking orders by the pool or decks but we heard tons of complaints about it. I know you don't want to create panic on the ship but one of the nights was realllllly rough. We felt safe but their were people that would have like some reassurance but nobody was warned of possible storm ahead .

Pool - whats the purpose to have a kiddie pool if they don't use it! We lost an afternoon/night due to a kid vomiting. Bingo - won free 100 min. internet that never worked properly Card game never played due to not enough interest but they didn't even wait or tried. just canceled the event b/4 hand.

Entertainment

stage shows - great musicians out dated, always disco and I love disco but every night not!

Service and Staff

Now this is where you shine- We had Imade Ari for our cabin steward. We NEVER had to ask for anything. We told him we wanted ice in our room. Imade made sure we had it, no matter what time we came back to our room we had fresh ice. Nikola and Aurelien in our anytime dinning room was very attentive, offered suggestions and made sure we were pleased with our meals.

We took our chances and went with a local mini van with 6 other people. Since we lost a day in Bermuda it was important for me to see as much as possible. We went on a 6 hour tour with an hour sent at Tobacco Bay for swimming and lunch. The tour guides name was Top Gun, he was very knowledgeable and took us EVERYWHERE.

Disembarkation

Very confusing, they gave us a location according to our luggage #. Then when we got to the location they dispatched up according to our level on the ship. Which made it a mess in the hall ways being over crowded.

I was on the same sailing. I bruised myself on the rough night. Disembarking was the worst....do much confusion due to no communication.
