Review summary

An ok experience but it could have been much better. A ship similar to Liberty of the Seas would have made it much better. As mentioned, some areas near staterooms were very noisy.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
No problems encountered except one piece of our luggage was damaged.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Ate mostly in the Windjammer. Food was good but service at the tables was inconsistent. Sometimes good, other times poor.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Good rating due to excellent service from our stateroom attendant. Otherwise, inconsistent due to wait staff.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Ship was clean but the layout was poor. Too cramped due to ship size relative to number of passengers.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Small size but as mentioned before was excellently maintained by our stateroom attendant.

Ship tip

Do not book a room near the open area by the aft elevator area. Very noisy. Entertainment was on deck 4 but could be easily heard several decks above.

Ports of call

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
A nice place to visit and browse in the many shops.

Portland, Maine

3 out of 5

Saint John, New Brunswick

2 out of 5
Did not like this area. Was expecting something more quaint but just got a city.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

2 out of 5
Same comments about this as Saint John.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We elected to participate in the express disembarkation by keeping our luggage with us. Long line at 7:15 am but it moved in an orderly fashion.
