We loved the all inclusive adults only theme of Virgin Voyages. We loved it so much that we booked two more cruises with them over the next year! We can’t wait to try the other dining and entertainment options that we missed on this shorter sailing.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We had trouble with weather and the airlines, so we arrived the morning of our embarkation. We were able to drop off our bags at the V terminal and head to Bayside (outdoor mall) via the free shuttle. We went back to the terminal about 1.5 hours before our scheduled time and were surprised that they let us go in early. We boarded about 30 minutes before our scheduled time. The whole process was very organized and easy! Great experience!

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We loved the specialty restaurant and food hall experience on board. Because this was a short sailing, we didn’t get to try everything. We luckily have two more sailings already scheduled with Virgin, so we’ll have plenty more to try soon! Our favorites were the French toast burger (Diner and Dash), the Huevos Rancheros (Let’s Taco Bout it), the skewers and baba ganoush at the Dock, the Golden Horizon drink at the Dock, the meatballs at Extra Virgin, the filet mignon at the Wake, also the polenta at the Wake, the tacos at Let’s Taco Bout It, the shrimp at Pink Agave, the Ginger Tea Mule at the Manor, and the tuna tartare at Razzle Dazzle. But everything was really wonderful with so many options!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We enjoyed the gym, the pool (but they need more pool and hot tub areas), Dual Reality, and the parties!
Entertainment
4 out of 5
DJs were great, again Dual Reality is a mesmerizing show, abd some of the musicians and vocalists were amazing. We wish they had more live performances though. The Happenings Cast are also so much fun and know how to get a party started.
Children's Programs
No kids allowed!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Really, this ship is well designed, clean, and beautiful - but they do have few set backs. The upper deck with the Net at the back of the ship is poorly designed and barely used. This is a huge area that could be so much better! Either another pool with hot tubs or an oasis like space with loungers and plants would go a long way. As is, it’s not inviting or beautiful and the net is nothing more than a photo op. Also bathrooms are hard to find throughout the ship and not well marked. Most are gender neutral as well - which has both pluses and minuses.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
This room is on the “corner” mid ship and has an extra large balcony. We highly recommend this particular room! The space is small but typical for a cruise ship, and we found it comfortable and with enough storage for two. It was clean and modern and we loved the lighting options that you can control with the iPad.
Ship tip
Remember this is an adults only cruise with more adult themes on board. They are welcoming to everyone and all lifestyles.
