Review summary

We love the 4-day itinerary. While it’s a quick getaway, the ship travels at a VERY leisurely pace. If you’re concerned about getting motion sick, this is a great trip b/c you hardly feel like you’re moving!

Embarkation

Super-smooth and organized. We were booked in a Rock-Star Suite and had priority boarding. Arrived to the terminal at 1:15 and we were onboard by 1:45. Our cabin was ready to go!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I like that there is no main dining room as there is on most ships. Plus, all of the speciality restaurants are included in the cruise fare. We ate at Extra Virgin (Italian), The Wake (steakhouse) and Razzle Dazzle. All were good meals. I would like to see Virgin add lobster tail as an addition at The Wake. I like surf and turf, so this is a negative for me.

Service and Staff

Service is exceptional. Every single person working on the ship was friendly and would greet you and say hello. Staff genuinely appeared to enjoy their jobs.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was our 4th sailing on Scarlet Lady. We LOVE staying in a Cheeky Corner Suite. The room is a great size, bathroom is super roomy, and we basically have our own private oasis on our HUGE balcony. There was almost no need to be outdoors on any other part of the ship. This is a Rock Star level cabin, which also comes with a host of benefits. It’s totally worth the extra cost.
