Gunbae on Scarlet Lady

Loved Gunbae! Why haven't other cruise lines started doing Korean BBQ? The food was high quality and comparable to brick-and-mortar KBBQ restaurants.

This experience was a lot of fun. I'm an introvert and was dreading having to sit with strangers...but since it was just me and my best friend in my party, we had no choice. It's a dining experience for at least 6 guests together. But our table and server were a lot of fun. The games were fun. The music in here is loud but the soundtrack is banging! Sitting in here was better than even the nightclub experiences cuz those DJs just played the same songs over and over and over. The food here was fun to watch being prepared for us. A few times we had to turn over our food on the grill because our server disappeared. The taste was okay...not great...could use some seasoning. But overall, fun dining experience.

this dining is not for someone with hearing problem or looking to have a nice quiet dining, it was so loud that my husband and i had to leave because my ears was hurting, I cannot say anything about the food but the whole menu was confusing we did not stay for dinner due to high noise

The food and service were good, the social experience was nice, and the drinking game was really fun!

Almost did not do this due to fears over shellfish allergy. We checked last minute and they said they would message us if they became available. They did and we went. Everything was delicious and they accommodated for the allergy and there were no issues. Waiter was awesome and we had a lot of fun.

A fun experience with Korean BBQ and Korean drinking games. Try the seafood pancake and the Korean fried chicken; both are not to be missed.

The most entertaining restaurant onboard must be Gunbae, the Korean BBQ restaurant. The idea is similar to a Japanese hibachi, where the food is cooked on the table in front of you. While you wait for your food, the waiters play a Korean drinking game with passengers and pour free shots of soju (Korean rice wine). The food is delicious and a bit different, if you're into trying something new.
