Review summary

This was our fourth Princess cruise. The software for the website and medallion apps need a lot of work. Prior to getting on the ship and dealing with the documentation isn’t user friendly and getting help is even more difficult. I’d fire ever IT person if they worked for me and find more qualified people to remake the application and protect the brand.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Great, quick in and on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Didn’t like the reservation thing for getting into a dining room. We had early dining but wasn’t assigned a dining room (there were four). Each night we needed to wait in the “no reservation line” the sat at a table with others to share. I called to make a reservation but was told I couldn’t be seated until 7:30 and 8:00. We chose to walk down to the International Dining room at 5:00 each night was was seated every night. Others at the tables told us they were having the same experience.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center everyday and the equipment was awesome. Watching games was our thing and found them to be entertaining.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great shows - the entertainers were extremely good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was very good and took care of everyday. We had two Piazza people who were outstanding; Rakesh in the Vines Bar and A1 (her name was Sawjes - spelling ) in the bar area of the Piazza. They were great !!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Didn’t like the layout. The entertainment area of the Piazza didn’t have enough seats for the people and many had to stand. There were a few nights that had no late entertainment in the Piazza . We felt like we being pushed into the bars that were crowded.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was a mini suite. Our first time in this size room. We thought it was very good, gave the room to make us feel comfortable.

Disembarkation

DIBwas great and worked out perfect. The one issue we had was with getting a taxi once off the ship; we waited about 1 1/2 hours at virtually at the head of the line for a taxi - there were none. The person taking our name and delivery location couldn’t tell us why there were no taxi’s .
