Review summary
Holland America's Ryandam is a little smaller than the big megaships that are sailing now. However, this is an advantage as it allows more passanger interrelationships due to smaller passanger count. The ship is very nice, however, it will require retrofit soon as it is beginning to show it's age (1994). The shows were excellent and entertainers worked their hearts out. Crew were very cordial and accommadating. The hours of the lido buffet need to be extended to accommadate show time and tours a little better.Ports of call
We did not visit the port but took the train tour to the Copper Canyon. There were passangers that complained that the tour was too long and too costly but I can say that we enjoyed it immensely.

Lovely port with many shops and jewelry stores. Passangers needed to be tendered in . A total of four ships were in port making the town very busy and congested.
