Review summary

Excellent trip that we wish we would have went on years ago. Plan on going again real soon.

Embarkation

We were worried about how embarkation was going to go since we had a couple of issues with the app but once we got to the port everything went smoothly and everyone was very helpful.

Food and Dining

The food and drinks were excellent throughout the entire trip. We were glad that we purchased the drinks package as well since it made it so we could just sit back and enjoy without thinking about the cost.

Onboard Activities

The pools were nice and warm and the hot tubs hot. It was never crowded and plenty of space about.

Entertainment

We enjoyed the various comedy, game, performance, and quiz shows that were happening throughout the ship. Unfortunately we did miss the magic show but hope to catch it next time.

Our daughter did not come with us on this trip.

Service and Staff

All the staff were professional and courteous. It got to the point were they not only knew who I was but also remember what I liked to drink.

They were constantly cleaning and maintaining the ship without it being too obvious.

Cabin / Stateroom

The overall of the cabin was great. The four star instead of five star is because the room was at a back of the boat which, combined with the rough seas, created a rather unpleasant experience at times.

Ship tip

If you are on the Ruby Princess one of the best places to hangout is the Explorers Lounge. It is in the middle of the ship (so less movement from the ocean) and a lot of the good game and quiz shows were done in there.
