Review summary

Well I was told that I would be receiving a $25.00 on board spending money but never did. Overall the cruise ship (princess) was nice it was clean and the staff was great!

I think all cruise ship staterooms should not have an obstructed view after all that's why people take the cruise to see the views

sorry, I just saw that you did get it, just the way I said.

it would have shown as a credit on your account onboard, r u sure it was,t shown as -$25. also it might have been shown. on the other passengers account you travelled with, they usually apply it to the first person s namme on the booking

Excellent!! Glad to hear you got the $25 after all. Just to mention one other thing, you feel cruise ships should have unobstructed views. The unfortunate thing is that with cruise lines trying to cram as many cabins on to a ship as they can, this will happen. But, there is a way to avoid this for your future bookings. When your on the phone booking with your agent, or if your offered a cabin with an online booking, before committing yourself to the booking you can research exactly where the cabin is and whats around it (such as pools above you or the theater below you) by viewing the ships deck plans online. Hope this helps. There is tons of valuable information on this website that may help you learn about cruising a little faster. Start with the "Advice" tab at the top of the screen. Best of luck on your next cruise (I know you want one). :)

Who told you that you were getting the $25? Princess? Your agent? Were there any restrictions involved in order for you to get the $25 (length of trip or cabin choice)? For the future, before you sail, verify any perks you are promised by reading your online booking at the Princess webpage where you do your online check-in. If it is not showing on your booking, call whoever promised the perk to you prior to leaving then ensure up to the day before you leave the perk is still on your booking. You should have gotten an email of your booking from your agent and or Princess after total is paid showing a breakdown of all charges and OBC's (On board credits). That will also show any extras you will be getting.
