Review summary

Cruise was great! Thursday through Monday so only a day off of work. Weather wasn’t cooperating but semi expected in December. Pools were heated, so that was nice. Medallion Class is interesting and I did like the medallion bracelet but the apps were definitely a bit buggy. I had to keep signing in. Also got other people’s drinks on my account about three times.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We embarked on the side berth at San Pedro (Los Angeles) and we were essentially in a tent. There were some lines but the medallion class sped up the process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room was good, Sabatini’s was great, Crown Grill was fine (not the best) and Alfredo’s (complimentary pizza restaurant) was great!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Princess does a good job with onboard activities. There is always something going on somewhere!

Cabin / Stateroom

Good location up one deck from the main level, deck 7. Could hear the elevators dinging from the room in the morning. Larger balcony, by about 30%

Ship tip

International cafe is a great spot for a snack! Great breakfast sandwiches as well.

Disembarkation

Again at the side berth in LA. From our room to the passport control was 0.7 miles of walking. Not Princess’s fault.
