We had a great time with our family, it was good to get away. This is our 6th cruise, 2nd with Princess. We do love Princess but I don't think I would choose to cruise on this ship again. The other Princess cruise we took was on the Crown Princess - I don't remember coming home from that trip feeling like I missed out on something. I want to come home and say "fantastic" when people ask how our trip went. This time I just can't say that.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We only dined in the Allegra Dining room and the buffet. The buffet was wonderful, a lot of choices. The dining room got old after the first couple nights. The food didn't seem to change much and the desserts weren't very inventive.
Onboard Activities

We played A LOT of trivia and anything else that took place in the Princess Live Theater. We enjoyed the movies under the stars, watching the balloon drop and dancing.

Loved this venue, we spend many hours playing whatever games they had going on each night. Thank you Matt O for the best time.
Entertainment

This is my 6th cruise and the stage shows on my other cruises have been outstanding. The shows on this cruise were very disappointing compared to the others - my husband didn't even bother going after the first night, he didn't miss anything. The comedian wasn't very funny, you felt sorry for him more than anything. He had a disability which he made fun of and it just got old quick. I didn't even go to see his second act.
Service and Staff

Cruise director, Matt O and his team were great and hilarious! Love spending time with them playing the many games in the Princess Live Theater. Our room was clean and fresh - missed the towel animals, we never got one. Our waiters were great and so helpful - Arnold and Serge, we will miss you.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had some issues with a few things now working right with our cabin but they were fixed quickly and it didn't cause us any issues. Things break that's life - how they dealt with it was top notch.
Ship tip
Grab the elevator and ride it. If you can get en elevator that is going up and you need to go down - GET ON and ride it until you get where you're going or you'll be standing there waiting for a while. This is the same on any cruise ship - too many people and not enough elevators.
We rented a hillside cabana - LOVED it. we had a wonderful view. The cabana was air conditioned and came with a mini fridge with water and soda which we took with us back aboard and enjoyed since we didn't buy the beverage package.
We got off the boat and took a cab (you can easily walk as well) to Jack's Shack. We were the only ones on the beach at Jack's for at least 2-3 hours, it was awesome. The beach right by the port was crowded and the water looked like it was full of seaweed but where we were the chairs were free and the umbrellas only cost $10 and the water was crystal clear. Plus when you get hungry you just walk up and eat at Jack's. It was a perfect day.
