Review summary

Great trip. All of the passengers were very cordial and active. The different dance floors were always full.

Embarkation

Smooth process except they take your picture on the ship when you first board. This created a rather long line on uneven footing.

Ship tip

Don’t miss eating at Alfredo’s. Literally some of the best pizza ever. Great atmosphere and excellent service.

Ports of call

Cobh (Cork), Ireland

We did an independent tour with Paddywagon. It was outstanding.

Dublin, Ireland

Really great to have an overnight in this port. Lots to see and do. The Hop on Hop Off Bus is a great value. You can bargain to get the price down.

Belfast, Northern Ireland

Don’t miss the 7 mile long peace wall.

Invergordon (Inverness & Loch Ness), Scotland

1 out of 5
This’s is a very small town so we went to Inverness. It too is small

South Queensferry (Edinburgh), Scotland

5 out of 5
Don’t miss this port. Be sure to see the Royal Yacht Britanica.. Allow at least two hours it’s worth the time.

Le Havre (Paris), France

2 out of 5
The reason they dock at Le Havre is because it’s accessible. It’s the port for Paris and Normandy. The tour to Paris is 3 hours one way on a bus. A couple of hours touring once you are there then a 3 hour ride back to ship. This should be an overnight port and skip Invergordon/Inverness.
