My first cruise in about 20 years. It way exceeded my expectations. Plenty of food, snacks, and top shelf alcohol. The crew was fantastic. Our RCI guide found us the perfect stateroom

the food was very good. We ate in 2 of the specialty restaurants, the Pinnacle Grill and Tamarind. The portions were good, and the service outstanding. The main dining room portions were sized just right, with excellent array of choices, even for my non-meat eating wife. The service was superb.
Onboard Activities

bingo was fun but a littel pricey. the fitness center was very nice. there were some classes for free available we took advantage of.
Entertainment

the dance shows were great, both in terms of the dance, and the lighting. The Rock and Roll room and Blues Club bands were great, although a littel too loud for me. The comedians were pretty good, although it was overflow crowds when held in the Blues Club. The dueling piano and piano bar were fine

Unbelievable service, both at meals and room turn down and tidy up. The crew was always happy

The balcony, with cleaar plexiglass railing was the key to our stateroom. Breakfast on the balcony with the ocean view was the best! My wife said she would never do a cruise again without a balcony
I would recommend doing an excursion, like snorkeling or diving. Otherwise you're just sitting on the beach, which was nice. Not to much to see or do otherwise on the island
we did the waterfall tour which was great. The only downside was not getting enough time to reivew the videos, hit the gift shop or on site cigar store. Our friends did a private tour of a run distillery and cigar factory which they enjoyed.
