Norovirus can put a chill on any cruise

Sail Date: December 02, 2015

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Cabin: 9127

The prior cruise experienced an outbreak of the norovirus which carried over to our cruise and continued to the next cruise as well. The lack of initial communication as well as the response by the Oceania was shameful. I will say that the crew was outstanding and worked endless extra hours to try to eliminate the germs. The bottom line after all the issues and the services that were eliminated along with the added stress and lost vacation time the only thing Oceania did to compensate its guests was to give a free cocktail party....rediculous!
