For those who want a low-key relaxing experience in Europe I highly recommend doing a River Cruise

I can't really say what our favorite part of the cruise was. We were treated like royalty by the crew and staff and never wanted for anything. The food was excellent, the excursions were very good, and the people we met on-board were very friendly. We had a really good time exploring the cities along the Rhine as well as during our Pre-stay in Amsterdam and our Post-stay in Basel. The boat was very clean and comfortable, the excursion guides were great and a good time was had by all. 

We were impressed by the level of service in all areas -- from the front desk staff, to hospitality, the restaurant, and sailing staff. They couldn't have been more welcoming.  It was wonderful exploring the cities with a knowledgeable guide and not having to move hotels to see so many places. We would love to go on more cruises.

I have a food allergy and was able to eat better on the ship than I do at home. At every meal they let me know exactly what was safe for me to eat and were willing to specially prepare most anything I could have asked for.

The entire experience was exceptional, from the accomodations, to food, service and tours. Uniworld surpassed my expectations! Uniworld employees and their contractors were experienced, professional and informative. The on board entertainment was wonderful. The crew made you feel at home while providing the uptmost courteous service. The choice of menu was exquisit, varied and reflected the regions we visited. The cuisine was masterfully presented and the paired wines were excellent. It was a wonderful experience.

As compared to other cruise lines, Uniworld's main perk is free flowing liquor.
